To fully maximise the abundance of daylight from the balcony area, the interior designer suggested hacking down the original kitchen walls to allow daylight to enter. The open plan concept of the kitchen and dining area encourages ease of interaction across spaces. Incorporating wainscoting, cornices and sconce light fixtures introduces classic elements of French design. The original parquet flooring of the bedrooms not only adds warmth but also retains an old charm to the space. A full height dresser was integrated alongside the bed head feature to provide practical storage while concealing clutter.
