What an awesome experience!

We were assigned to ID, Hazel Tan, and it was just an extremely fun and pleasant experience right from the start. Hazel has been professional, patient, meticulous and a great bundle of fun and energy. She has loads of ideas and was able to put together the concept that we were looking for. When plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances, Hazel was flexible and did her best to accommodate us. She even took time off to help us when we did some DIY. She was an ultimate gem! During the whole period, she provided timely updates and delivered the project promptly. Before the handover was done, she ensured that the cleaning met our expectations. We hope to work with her again in the future and will recommend her to our friends and family.

We chose TIL because we were very pleased with the creative ideas that were suggested. Ashley Misso was the designer we worked with and we’re very happy with her services. She kept us updated with pictures throughout the course of the ongoing renovations. This kept the experience as first time homeowners fun and enjoyable as we could the 3D renditions come to life! We highly recommend Ashley to anyone who’s looking for an ID who is willing to go the extra mile and is super creative.

I recently had my home renovated by The Interior Lab (TIL) and I’m very happy with the result. Matty was professional and easy to communicate with throughout the project. She provided a detailed plan of the renovation work, which included replacing the countertops, cabinets, and flooring. The work was completed within the timeline that was given to me, and the final result looks fantastic. I particularly appreciate the attention to detail that Matty had showed during the project. She provided valuable suggestions that otherwise we wouldn’t have thought of. Overall, I would highly recommend TIL for any renovation work. The quality of their work and after sales support are exceptional and their professionalism is second to none. The workmanship and professionalism we received 7 years ago for our first home was so great that we decided to engage her again this time and she didn’t disappoint. Smooth Reno process highly recommend

Did my Reno with Cheryl Yeo of TIL, clicked with her well and she understood what we needed and facilitated the whole process very efficiently. Started in Mid Dec and completed before CNY (within 2 mths), much due to her planning and scheduling. The contractors with TIL had good quality workmanship and I had no issues. I surveyed 8 other companies before choosing TIL, it’s important to go with a reputable company that is interested in building up a good reputation and has good industry contacts. Give them a shot and see if you can vibe with their IDs!

Home Renovation

Thank you to our ID, Edwin, who helped us to complete our dream home. His responsiveness exceeds our expectation throughout the whole renovation journey. There were many customization to our whole project, we would like to commend his effort for going the extra mile to research, liaise and update us about the progress/choice to make. In all renovation, there will definitely be issues that arise but Edwin was able to resolve it together with us in a timely and professionally manner. Edwin was able to pick up what we are particular about when we do our checks, and will reinforce to his contractors to ensure it is done in the manner we prefer to ensure the end results turns out to how we want it to be. In addition, we would also like to extend over appreciation to all the contractors who are part of the renovation project. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome of our home!

We highly recommend Suki from Interior Lab – she is very thorough and meticulous in both her design and the execution of the renovations. She is also very reliable and trustworthy and we know we can count on her to manage the contractors and the various service providers. She is super responsive and our concerns, requests or queries are usually handled very promptly by her. It was a very smooth and hassle free renovation process for us as she was always on the ball, keeping us updated at every step of the way. She was always very patient with us, giving us very useful advice and tips for first time home owners, sometimes even going above and beyond her job scope as an interior designer. Went for TIL as our ID for our second home as we needed a company which was reputable and clear with meeting project datelines. Sophia managed to give us a clear idea of how the project was going to turn out and gave updates on the various phases of our renovation. Through the journey there was ample space for consultation and we are happy to be able to turn our ideas into reality. I would think that the strength of the company was in having a strong team of contractors who work seamlessly with one another. Small blind spots were picked up quickly and it is commendable to be able to run the project through the year end festive seasons. After moving in Sophia was also forthcoming in touching up and making minor adjustments to fit our lifestyle.

My spouse and I have developed a genuine passion for exploring local renovations, and our favorite source for inspiration is YouTube, particularly the TIL channel. Initially drawn to its diverse designs, we never imagined our admiration would lead to our own renovation project. With a move on the horizon, we turned to TIL for ideas.

Collaborating with Sean and Felisa, the minds behind TIL’s designs, proved enlightening. Their seamless blend of creativity and functionality resonated deeply with us, making them the obvious choice for revamping our living space. From the get-go, they exhibited a keen understanding of our vision, effortlessly translating our preferences into tangible concepts that surpassed our expectations. What truly set them apart was their knack for infusing each design with a unique flair, injecting a breath of fresh air into our renovation journey. Communication was key throughout the process, and Sean and Felisa excelled in this regard. Their responsiveness and clarity left no room for ambiguity, ensuring that every query was addressed promptly and every concern was met with diligence. When it came to incorporating changes or addressing unforeseen issues, they approached each task with a sense of professionalism and efficiency that instilled confidence in us. Of course, no renovation project is without its challenges, and ours was no exception. Yet, it was during these moments of adversity that Sean and Felisa truly shone. Stress-free Reno, thoughtful designs, super workmanship!

We were referred to Vincent from a friend who recently did their BTO Reno. Vincent was easy to work with, gave helpful design inspirations. He was mindful of our requirements, including maximising the space, and also helped soften up the kitchen and living area with curved cabinet edges.

Vincent is also extremely detail oriented, ensuring that the electrical appliances fit well within the required dimensions. He is also very good with conceptualising lighting, and found ways to soften up the space with LED lights.

The whole reno process was also very smooth. Vincent helped project manage the contractors, installation and ensuring that all the cabinets, kitchen counter top and toilet cabinets were done well. He also came with us to the lights & fixtures shop to ensure that the items we picked, e.g lights, toilet bowls, sinks matched and fit well together.

A home reno process can be very stressful, particularly for first time home owners like us. So many unknowns and considerations. Worse still, we heard many horror stories from our friends ‘arguing’ with their IDs. Thankfully, Vincent is the complete opposite – he was skilled in managing the timeline to completion ahead of schedule, great quality workmanship, reliable, all within our budget. Vincent was also flexible when we needed to change some requirements, e.g. changing dish rack to shelf.

Also patient with our design changes and able to swiftly provide suggestions that would better suit the requirements. Any issues were rectified quickly. Delivery timelines were also met well.

So Grateful for Dream Home

From the first meeting with interior designer Angie Ku I knew she would be the one who can help me materialise my ideal wabi sabi home 🙂 Her keen aesthetic sense, ability to comprehend what I want and last but not least her patience assured me that my renovation journey with her would be a smooth one. I appreciate her timely and frequent updates via video calls which gave me much needed peace of mind especially when I was busy. Every now and then she would look at the renovation progress and suggest ideas for improvement, some of which ended up as some of my favourite aspects of my new home. I’m thankful to have Angie as my comrade on the renovation journey.. would definitely recommend her to friends and family who need to renovate their homes!

I had contemplated doing renovations for my home for a few years but never got round doing it as I couldn’t find someone who I feel I could trust. All the horror stories that I hear from friends as well as those online about contractors and ID didn’t help my confidence level. So I would say I am very lucky to have found and worked with David. David and his team is the differentiator factor. Without David, the renovation journey would not have been what it is. David and his team had went above and beyond their roles and responsibilities to ensure the renovations are done perfectly. From the onset of discussions, David was upfront about the designs I had in mind and he provided his perspectives. He did not make promises that he couldn’t meet and never once did I feel that he was trying to ‘sell’ me something. He gave me options and patiently waited for me to decide. Once we had an agreement on the design, David helped to scout for materials. With his support and recommendations , we managed to choose the items that we wanted. We told him the timing we needed the renovations to be complete and he worked around the timing of less than 4 months for a complete renovation. The moment the renovation started, David provided on time updates and along the way, he guided us on every step that needed our involvement. There were a couple of changes I wanted to do after some of the installation was done and David was very accommodating to my request.The whole journey was fuss free, on time and on budget and we know it was because David is an excellent project manager as well as ID and without him, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve what we achieved. I have no hesitation to recommend David to anyone who wants to have renovations done. David is direct, professional and most importantly he is responsible. He has my full trust and confidence.
