Scandinavian Interior Design Infused With A Soft Muji Touch – Scandinavian Interior Design

This scandi-muji home in Singapore takes on the minimalistic yet functional element of a scandinavian interior design. While exuding a Zen-like ambiance of a Japanese interior. The soothing colour scheme and laid-back ‘hygge’-ness makes this home irresistibly charming.

Frameless glass panels segregate the different working spaces, allowing this Scandinavian home to appear visually lighter. To meet the storage needs of the growing family, full-height cabinets lines most parts of the home to keep spaces impeccably organized.

Interior Designer’s Thoughts

To keep the home interior bright and airy, glass partitions were used to visually connect the communal area. Beyond aesthetics, the glass partition offer more light to flow into the home office increasing productivity. At times, the homeowners can watch over his child in the living room while working from home.

One might also notice that there is a niche by the bed as part of the full-height cabinet. By setting the niche at the right height, it becomes a space-saving hack which eliminate the need of a bedside table.
